WARREN, Ohio – The $800 million Kimberly-Clark manufacturing plant rising on the former Republic Steel property is expected to reshape the Mahoning Valley’s economic landscape for decades. The 1 million-square-foot facility, now under construction less than a mile from Warren’s Courthouse Square, is on schedule to begin production in the first half of 2027 and will support hundreds of construction and manufacturing jobs.

Plus, 717 Credit Union announced it will open two Akron branches in the coming months, marking its entry into the city. The first location is scheduled to open April 6, with a second branch planned for later this spring.
