Kismet PEO in Sharon, Pa., expanded and enhanced its service offerings in 2025, Stephen Kelleher, president and co-founder, reports.
Since 2019, the professional employer organization has provided services including human resources outsourcing, payroll processing, compliance management and expanded benefits solutions for early to midstage companies. Clients maintain full control over day-to-day management of their business, including hiring decisions and strategic direction.
During 2025, the company migrated to a new multiple employer 401(k) plan through a partnership with TransAmerica, eliminating both annual base fees and per-participant fees, Kelleher says. This transition made the plan free for all Kismet PEO partner companies and enabled smaller employers to begin offering 401(k) to their teams.
Kismet also established a master plan relationship with Colonial Life, introducing affordable supplemental insurance options, such as life, accident, and disability coverage, to its partners. In addition, a new partnership with LegalShield introduced an accessible and portable legal assistance platform available for all partner employees.
“Demand for PEO services remains strong in 2026, particularly among small and midsized businesses seeking relief from administrative burdens while competing for talent,” Kelleher says. “Kismet PEO’s ability to simplify these challenges while delivering personalized service will remain our unique differentiator in the market.”
