YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Lake to River Economic Development, Ohio’s seventh and newest economic development region, has appointed Dani Robbins as its CEO — a leader widely recognized for her transformational work in coalition-building, organizational strategy and mission-driven development.
Robbins expressed excitement and gratitude for the opportunity, noting that her career has spanned roles as a director, executive, consultant, small business owner and professor dedicated to strengthening communities and the organizations that serve them. “Since grad school, I’ve been working to make my community stronger and the world better,” she said.
Greg Myers, a board member at Lake to River, emphasized why Robbins was chosen. “Dani’s career has been defined by transformational leadership. … She brings decades of experience building coalitions, securing resources and delivering results. We chose to look for proven capability – and Dani has that in spades.”
