NILES, Ohio – Dani Robbins, CEO of Lake to River Economic Development, highlighted a year of significant growth and investment across the four-county region while outlining plans to build on that momentum.
Robbins said the organization helped drive approximately $860 million in investment, along with the creation of hundreds of new jobs and substantial payroll growth, marking what she described as a year that exceeded expectations.
She noted that projects span a wide range of areas, including small business development, downtown revitalization and community-focused initiatives, all aimed at strengthening the region’s economic foundation.
Robbins also emphasized the importance of engaging directly with communities, saying that building relationships and understanding local needs are key to long-term success and sustainable growth.
Looking ahead, she said the organization plans to expand its efforts by increasing investment, attracting more businesses and continuing to support job creation, noting that economic development is a long-term strategy with impacts that will continue to grow over the next decade and beyond.
