NEW CASTLE, Pa. – The 2026 Visitors Guide of Lawrence County is now available.
The booklet is packed with the best things to see and do in the county, including outdoor recreation, dining, arts and culture, wine and brew and Amish country.
The guides are visible throughout the state of Pennsylvania at highway Welcome Centers, select rest areas and Pittsburgh hotels.
It can also be found at the Visit Lawrence County office, 229 S. Jefferson St., downtown, and at its brochure racks at Holiday Inn Express, Quality Inn, Lawrence County Government Center, Premium Outlets at Grove City, Cascade Galleria, Pulse Coffee Shop, New Castle Airport and various businesses throughout the county.

New items in this year’s guide include bird-watching and water articles.
Lawrence County is home to six waterfalls; four of them are within McConnells Mill State Park. There are also plenty of bird-watching opportunities, one being the West Park Nature Center.
The Neshannock Creek is one of 22 Keystone Select stocked trout waterways. Designed for trout fishing, it is stocked twice a year.
Another new feature covers the celebration of America250PA. An article highlights and details the significance of Lawrence County’s “Bells Across PA” replica Liberty Bell.
Another article reflects on the county’s sacred spaces: Holy Spirit Parish’s Saint Pio Chapel, Sisters of the Humility of Mary and the Orthodox Monastery of Transfiguration.
