CANFIELD, Ohio – LED3 is striving to provide brighter and more customizable displays with higher resolution for its customers.
The company’s recent purchase of Unilumin UPadIV panels and corner elements for these panels allows for displays that can wrap around objects, such as reception desks, and carry seamless video across 90-degree angles.
This allows for more creative customization, especially for clients who are building trade show displays, says Clare Neff, CEO and founder. “Our 3.9-millimeter panels remain a strong rental option for customers with a somewhat limited budget,” she says.
Brian Barry, technical services manager, was the product manager for LED3’s first international display. He traveled to Amsterdam with LED tech Nick Jordan to install a 1.5-millimeter pixel pitch at a museum.
Workspace was definitely an issue, as the final display took up almost the entire room. The two overcame several challenges, including the delivery and installation of the panels through a window in the museum.
LED3’s client EventWorks 4D of Cleveland was thrilled with the end result as was its client, Neff says. “Our Amsterdam client marvels at the impeccable quality of the screen.”
The company also worked with Youngstown State University to upgrade the four-sided scoreboard in the Zidian Family Arena in Beeghly Center.
Dodging the remnants of Hurricane Helene, LED3 installed a high-resolution outdoor screen for student housing at Columbia College in South Carolina.
Last year marked 25 years in business for Bruce and Clare Neff. As they embark upon the next quarter century, the Neffs say they are proud to have kept the company local.
