YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Melissa Hale, owner and president of Leiden Co., discusses the company’s long-standing involvement with the Panerathon. Leiden has supported the Panerathon since its inception in 2009, a relationship that began through the company’s work with Covelli Enterprises, a longtime client.
Hale, a runner herself, noted that her initial interest was rooted in supporting a client and participating in a community event. Over time, however, the cause became more personal, particularly after her own breast cancer diagnosis in 2021 and a family history with the disease.
This year, Leiden’s team includes 53 participants — its largest group to date.
