YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Anthony Daprile, a third-generation insurance professional, and his wife, Amy, say service to others continues to guide both business philosophy and personal life.

Speaking about his family’s long history in the insurance industry, Anthony noted his grandfather launched the business in 1947, and 12 of 13 children followed him into the field. Now he is the first of the third generation to open his own agency, continuing a tradition of helping individuals recover from financial loss and hardship.

Beyond the business, philanthropy plays a central role. The Dapriles, parents to a son with special needs, support programs that assist families with disabilities. “It’s difficult being a parent, and then you add the additional layer of being a special-needs parent,” Anthony said. He added that financial strain often makes the challenge greater for many families.

Among the efforts he highlighted is support for an esports program designed for students with developmental challenges, giving them opportunities for competition, social connection and hands-on technology skills.

Despite being a small business, Amy says recognition for their philanthropy means more than sales awards. “Even though we are small, we are making a difference,” she said. “If you don’t have funds to give, you can always give your time.”
