BOARDMAN, Ohio – Mahoning County Prosecutor Lynn Maro will host People’s Law School, a free legal education lecture series for the public.
The course, in partnership with the Public Library of Youngstown & Mahoning County, will run from 5:30-7:30 p.m. every Wednesday in October at the Boardman Library, 7680 Glenwood Ave.
Each session will feature two topics presented by Maro and a variety of guest speakers, including assistant prosecutors, judges and other legal professionals. Time will be provided each evening for questions and discussion with the speakers.
Topics will include the Mahoning County Prosecutor’s Office Criminal and Civil Division, constitutional rights, plea bargaining, misdemeanors and OVI, human trafficking, sting operations, specialty courts, foreclosures, evictions, zoning, juvenile law, wills and estates.
