SALEM, Ohio – Manufacturers and community partners are being recruited to participate in STEAM University, an event designed to engage young students in STEM-related career opportunities.
The event will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 12 at Kent State University at Salem.
STEAM University is free for families and students in preschool through fifth grade.
This year’s theme, STEAM Quest, will challenge exhibitors to create an elementary-level, interactive activity for students. After completing each station, students will receive a stamp in their mission passport.
