CANFIELD, Ohio – Jason Moore, an engineering instructor at the Mahoning County Career & Technical Center, earned the FANUC iRVision certification, making MCCTC an official site for students to earn this industry-recognized credential in robotics and automation.
After submitting a recorded lesson demonstrating the use of FANUC’s iRVision system – technology introduced during specialized training in Michigan – Moore received confirmation from FANUC that the certification requirements were achieved. He is now authorized to offer FANUC iRVision certifications to students enrolled in his program.
“This is going to be awesome for my students,” Moore said. “The ability to certify them in iRVision gives them a competitive edge in the field of robotics and automation. It’s a huge step forward for our program.”
In recognition, FANUC will send an official certificate and a ROBOT CERT banner to MCCTC. Additionally, the school has received customized certification templates that will be used to award students who complete the program.
