CANFIELD, Ohio – Students from the Mahoning County Career & Technical Center’s AI Automation & Software Development and Cybersecurity programs recently received national recognition at the Business Professionals of America National Leadership Conference in Nashville, Tenn.
Competing against some of the top students from across the country, every MCCTC student competitor earned a national placement in their respective events.
Students who received national honors include:
- Ben Weber: Top 10 in the Nation, Server Administration Using Microsoft.
- Payton Manasco: Top 10 in the Nation, Mobile Application.
- Rigdon Windsor, Alyssa Emerson, Brant Simpson and Carson Pugh: Top 10 in the Nation, Web Application Team.
- Jack Hurdley and Payton Manasco: Top 10 in the Nation and “Best in Show,” Web Application Team.
The BPA National Leadership Conference provides students with opportunities to demonstrate their technical, leadership and workplace skills while competing against students from across the United States.
