CANFIELD, Ohio – Mahoning Valley families are invited to the fifth annual Kids Career Fair, presented by Mahoning County Career & Technical Center, Valley STEM Academy and City Machine Technologies Inc.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at MCCTC, 7300 N. Palmyra Road.
The Kids Career Fair was developed to showcase the career opportunities in the area that many children and parents may not know about.
The event coincides with Career and Technical Schools Month, which is recognized in February.
“Our students these days have multiple job offers coming right out of the career and technical center,” said MCCTC Superintendent John Zehentbauer. “This is just another way to explore our school and learn about jobs that they can have right out of high school.”
Businesses are asked to pass out giveaways and provide a table activity for children during the event.
The Kids Career Fair is free and open to the public.
