CANFIELD, Ohio – The Mahoning County Career & Technical Center and Valley STEM+ME2 Academy will host a Veterans Day celebration and pancake breakfast from 7 a.m. to noon Saturday at the school, 7300 N. Palmyra Road.
All veterans are invited to the community event to enjoy a free all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. with a valid military or veteran ID. The cost for community members and guests is $10 per person.
In addition to the breakfast, the celebration will include a cornhole tournament and honor walk from 10 a.m. to noon. The cornhole tournament is open to the public, with preregistration required and an entry fee of $20 per team. Guests can also participate in a basket raffle, with proceeds supporting student and community activities.
“This event is a special way for our students, staff and community to come together and express our gratitude to those who have sacrificed so much,” said Matt Campbell, MCCTC principal. “It’s a privilege to host an event that celebrates our local heroes.”
