YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – McDonald’s restaurants across Ohio will host RMHC Digital Day on Friday, a fundraising effort to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities.
During the one-day campaign, 20% of all digital sales made through the McDonald’s app will be donated directly to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northeast Ohio. Each participating restaurant has also committed to a minimum donation of $250.
“We’re proud to support RMHC and their mission to keep families close to their children during some of the hardest moments of their lives,” said owner/operator Jason Payne, a Round-Up for
RMHC champion. “When our guests order through the McDonald’s app on Aug. 8, they’re helping a family stay together when being together matters most.”
Ronald McDonald House Charities creates, finds and supports programs that enhance the health and well-being of children and families, particularly when extended hospital stays or out-of-town treatments are required. By offering housing, meals and support, RMHC helps ease the financial and emotional burden for families with seriously ill children.
