YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Local sustainable clothing creator Mended Apparel will celebrate the grand opening of its new garment-making space at 12 N. Phelps St. on Aug. 29.
Community members and fashion enthusiasts are invited to attend the celebration from 2-5 p.m. and learn more about the business.
The event will include a ribbon cutting, marking the opening of the storefront, followed by Fashion on Phelps, a curated fashion show featuring Mended Apparel’s latest collection.
“We are incredibly thrilled to open our doors and share our passion for garment making with the Youngstown community,” said Ariel Brockway, owner of Mended Apparel. “Fashion on Phelps is not just a clothing showcase – it is a celebration of craftsmanship, sustainability and giving apparel a second story.”
In case of inclement weather, the event will be held at Concept Studios, 217 W. Federal St.
