Screening mammograms are typically covered by most insurance plans and do not require a physician’s order. Financial assistance is available for mobile screenings.

Certified radiologists review all mammograms, and each screening is evaluated with a computer-aided detection system designed to identify potential signs of breast cancer. Results are sent to the patient’s physician.

Women should consult with their physician about when to begin routine screening mammograms.
