“Brier Hill” reached Mahoning Valley audiences where they live. The film by Jimmy Taaffe of Struthers takes place in the Brier Hill neighborhood of Youngstown in the late 1970s – a time when the steel mills and the mafia were still at their peak.
The film follows young couple Benny and Taffy, who are forced down a path of vengeance and self-preservation.
