MVMC to Host ‘Family-Friendly’ Job Fair

WARREN – Employers and local job seekers are invited to a non-traditional Community Career Fair on Saturday, Aug. 20.

The Mahoning Valley Manufacturers Coalition event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Community Family Outreach Complex in Warren.

Designed to allow more jobseekers to attend, the event will be held on a Saturday and will help to address the child-care challenges that can provide obstacles to searching for a job.

Children will be encouraged to attend the event with their parents and participate in fun, hands-on activities specifically for them while the adults interact with area employers. Job seeking tips, mock interviews and resume reviews will also be available.

Employers looking to hire are invited to register for the event. Members of the MVMC can have sponsorships, employer tables and volunteering opportunities at the event.
