CANFIELD, Ohio – Naffah Development LLC has purchased the former Youngstown Propane location at 4445 Boardman Canfield Road for $1.1 million, according to records filed with the Mahoning County Auditor’s Office.
“We own the property next door to it, so it was just smart to buy that property also,” said Mike Naffah, principal of Naffah Development.
Naffah said there are no immediate plans for the building other than to make it available for lease. Youngstown Propane consolidated its Canfield Township showroom with its Austintown location earlier in 2025 and placed the building up for sale.
“There’s been a few inquiries already, but we haven’t really started to work on anything,” he said.
The sale was recorded Dec. 23, according to the auditor’s office, and is appraised at $519,580 for tax purposes. The transaction includes a 7,425-square-foot building and an accompanying 1.8 acres.
Naffah Development also owns the property directly east of the former Youngstown Propane site. The company also has developed the Ironwood Commons, a mixed residential and commercial development near the U.S. Route 224 and state Route 11 interchange.
