NELSONVILLE, Ohio – Another round of artists has been added to the lineup of the Nelsonville Music Festival, which will take place June 18-20.

The newcomers to the list are British folk stars Gillian Welch and David Rawlings; soul, gospel and blues icon Mavis Staples; punk act Wine Lips; Saintseneca, Cat Clyde, Los Mirlos, Anna Tivel, Elizabeth Moen and Emily Hines.

They were added to a list that already includes indie rock greats Geese and Wednesday; acclaimed rising Americana act Ryan Davis and the Roadhouse Band; blues great Marcus King; the Fruit Bats, Weedghost, Styrofoam Winos, Mon Rovia, Big Freedia and about a dozen more.
A final round of artists will be unveiled in the near future, according to a press release from the festival.

Nelsonville Music Festival takes place at Snow Fork Event Center, a bucolic outdoor space in Athens County.

The festival is known nationally for its eclectic mix of indie rock and Americana artists and its laid-back atmosphere in a rural corner of the state.

Weekend passes, as well as camping and parking passes, are available at NelsonvilleFest.org.

Single-day passes will go on sale at a later date if the weekend passes do not sell out.
