NELSONVILLE, Ohio – The Nelsonville Music Festival has announced another batch of artists that will perform at this year’s event.

Newly added to the 2026 lineup are Marcus King Band, Fruit Bats, Hannah Cohen, Gwenifer Raymond, Mikaela Davis, Styrofoam Winos, Thomas Dollbaum, Setting, Magic Tuber Stringband, Tory Silver and Weedghost.

Previously announced artists include Geese, Wednesday, Mon Rovia, Thee Sinseers, The Altons, Big Freedia, S.G. Goodman, Ken Pomeroy, Ryan Davis & the Roadhouse Band, Etran de L’Air, The Animeros and Bertha: Grateful Drag.

The festival, which specializes in indie rock, world music and Americana, will take place June 18-20 at Snow Fork Event Center, near Athens in southeastern Ohio.

Founded in 2005, the Nelsonville Music Festival is known for music that spans genres and generations, its scenic setting in the Appalachian foothills and the strong sense of community among attendees.

In an article about the direction of rock festivals, Stereogum pointed to Nelsonville as one that is doing things the right way.

“The way forward, as has been obvious for a while now, is smaller, more carefully curated fests – sustainable events with real personality,” the magazine wrote. “Nelsonville Music Festival is one of the best of them.”

More than 20 additional artists, daily schedules and other programming details will be announced in the weeks ahead, according to a press release from the festival.

Tickets are now on sale for this year’s event at their lowest prices. The prices of all tickets will rise incrementally as the event draws near.

Tier 2 weekend passes are currently $200. Weekend passes for teens (ages 13-17) are available for $100, and kids 12 and under can attend for free with a ticketed adult. To buy tickets, go to NelsonvilleFest.org or call 740 753 1924.
