BOARDMAN, Ohio – Workplace safety professionals, business leaders and HR teams will gather for a day focused on helping employees return home safely from work.
Sydney Williams, marketing manager for On Demand Occupational Medicine, discusses the upcoming Northeast Ohio Safety Expo, set for Oct. 15 at the Holiday Inn in Boardman. The event continues a regional safety expo previously held by the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation and brings safety professionals and providers together for education, networking and certification opportunities.
Williams says the expo serves as an annual continuing education resource for the region. This year’s speaker lineup includes representatives from the Cleveland-area OSHA office and Mercy Health, along with Dani Robbins of Lake to River Economic Development and Tom Biles of On Demand.
The event is designed for safety professionals as well as people working in leadership and human resources and others looking to strengthen workplace safety practices.
The NEO Safety Expo will run from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
