YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — A new housing expansion in Trumbull County is set to meet the rising demand for modern, single-family homes as Altobelli Real Estate and Home & Land Developers LLC announced the completion of public infrastructure in the Kline’s Farm development.
The project, now shovel-ready, will add 32 new residential lots to Liberty Township — a welcome boost to the local housing market amid regional growth.
Jason Altobelli, a real estate broker at Altobelli Real Estate, and Trumbull County Commissioner Rick Hernandez highlighted the collaboration among state, county and township officials that helped bring the expansion to life. The effort reflects a shared commitment to preparing the community for the surge of jobs connected to major employers such as Foxconn, Kimberly-Clark and Amazon.
“We are short on housing, and this project will allow for 32 new single-family homes,” Altobelli said. “It’s been two years in planning and made possible through strong cooperation at every level.”
Hernandez emphasized the county’s role in ensuring developments like this have the necessary infrastructure — sewer, water, gas and electrical services — to support sustainable community growth. He also noted the alignment with Valley Vision and Lake to River initiatives, which aim to attract developers and strengthen the Mahoning Valley’s residential and economic base.
As job creation continues to climb across the region, local leaders say the Kline’s Farm expansion is a timely and critical step toward providing the housing needed to keep pace with the Valley’s momentum.
