WARREN, Ohio – Sales of new cars and trucks to customers in Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties in June saw a slight increase compared with the same period last year, according to the most recent report from the Greater Cleveland Automobile Dealers’ Association.

Showrooms in northeastern Ohio reported that they sold a total of 2,427 new vehicles to Mahoning Valley customers last month, compared with 2,418 sold in June 2025, an uptick of less than 1%.

Those dealers with the five best new vehicle sales in terms of volume were Ken Ganley Kia of Boardman with 148; Boardman Subaru with 145; #1 Cochran Chevrolet, Boardman, with 115; Toyota of Boardman with 112; and #1 Cochran Honda, Boardman, with 110.

While sales of new automobiles stayed flat in June, transactions for used cars and trucks fell by more than 6% during the month, the report shows. Dealerships reported that showrooms sold 1,925 used units last month, compared with 2,063 sold during the same period a year ago, a drop of 6.6%.
