WARREN, Ohio – Sales of new cars and trucks to residents of Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties fell more than 5% in February compared with the same period in 2025, according to the most recent report from the Greater Cleveland Automobile Dealers’ Association.

Dealers in the region report they sold a total of 1,827 new vehicles to Mahoning Valley customers last month, compared with 1,929 in February 2025, a drop of 5.2%.

Among the top-selling area dealerships by volume during the month were Boardman Subaru with 124 new vehicles sold; Toyota of Boardman with 91; Greenwood Chevrolet, Austintown, with 88; Fairway Ford, Canfield, with 87; and Ken Ganley Kia, Boardman, with 80.

Sales of used vehicles, on the other hand, increased by 4%, the report shows.  

Dealers reported they collectively sold 1,920 used cars and trucks during February, compared with 1,845 sold during the same month in 2025.
