ODNR Seeks Applicants for 2024 Internship Program
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio Department of Natural Resources is inviting college students to apply for a 2024 summer internship.
ODNR expects to hire 60 interns in a variety of fields, including biology, communications, engineering, forestry, geology, law enforcement, recreation, water quality, wildlife and more.
“Ohio is fortunate to have so many great, higher education institutions that are developing the new class of leaders,” said Mary Mertz, ODNR director. “Year after year, we see that talent pool reflected in our incredibly successful internship program where students grow and learn all about our department’s diverse career opportunities.”
The interns selected for the program will take part in real-world scenarios in the field and office. Interns will also have the opportunity to further develop skills through specialized professional development training.
Eligible applicants must be enrolled as a part- or full-time student at an accredited college, university or community college that offers or leads to an associate, bachelor or graduate degree. Students also must be in good academic standing.
