CORTLAND, Ohio – A ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony will take place at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Cortland Clubhouse, 303 N. Mecca St., to celebrate the transition of Ohio Living’s Lake Vista to Otterbein Cortland.
The event will mark the recent acquisition of the Lake Vista community by Otterbein SeniorLife, a faith-based, nonprofit organization with more than a century of experience in serving older adults. Founded in 1912, Otterbein SeniorLife provides a comprehensive range of services, including independent and assisted living, memory support, skilled nursing, rehabilitative care, home health and hospice services across Ohio, Indiana and Michigan.
“I’m excited to share that Otterbein SeniorLife will acquire Ohio Living at Lake Vista, a senior living community that shares our values and mission,” said Jill Wilson, president and CEO of Otterbein SeniorLife. “This is a meaningful step forward in our journey to extend our mission to enrich individual life journeys for all. We feel privileged to continue the faith-based mission of Ohio Living at Lake Vista. With 113 years of experience, we are honored to invest in Lake Vista’s future and welcome its residents, staff and families into the Otterbein family.”
The dedication ceremony will celebrate both the legacy of Lake Vista and the future of Otterbein Cortland, highlighting continued investment in senior services for the region.
