YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Ohio Lottery’s Cash Explosion show will come to the Covelli Centre on June 14.
Eight pre-selected contestants and eight contestants drawn live from the audience will play for a $250,000 top prize on Cash Explosion Live. Cash Explosion will also give away $25,000 in cash prizes to audience members throughout the show’s taping.
Doors will open at noon, and the taping will begin at 2 pm. Admission to the show is free, and seating will be first come, first served.
Any current Cash Explosion Entry tickets are valid for the live drawing. Audience participants should bring their tickets to the show with their name and phone number clearly written on the back of the ticket to be eligible for the live drawing.
The show will kick off its annual Facing Hunger campaign with a food drive at the show’s taping. All food collected at the show will benefit Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley.
Cash Explosion is the only weekly state lottery show still airing in the United States. Contestants have won more than $250 million on the TV game show since it first aired Feb. 7, 1987.
