OMA Names Carl Managing Director of Public Policy Services
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio Manufacturers’ Association has promoted Rachael Carl to managing director of public policy services.
Carl joined the OMA staff in February 2021 as a key member of its advocacy team. In her new role, she will lead the advocacy efforts and member engagement through the association’s public policy committees. Carl will continue to be visible at the Statehouse and among Ohio’s regulatory agencies.
Carl, a native of Grove City, Ohio, and graduate of The Ohio State University, previously served as a legislative liaison for Gov. Mike DeWine, legislative director for the Ohio Department of Commerce, and a legislative aide in the Ohio House.
“Rachael’s wealth of experience has prepared her well for this leadership role at the OMA,” says Ryan Augsburger, OMA president. “Her knowledge of Ohio, its state government, and the manufacturing community will serve our membership well as we look to take the OMA’s advocacy to the next level.”
