AUSTINTOWN, Ohio – On Demand Occupational Medicine is inviting safety professionals, business leaders and workplace wellness advocates throughout northeastern Ohio to attend the inaugural NEO Safety Expo.

The one-day event, a continuation of the fall safety conference previously led by the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation, will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 25 at the Holiday Inn in Boardman, 7410 South Ave.

“We’re honored to carry forward the legacy of safety education in our region,” said Ruth Bowdish, managing director of On Demand Occupational Medicine. “Safety isn’t just a policy – it’s a promise to every worker that their well-being matters. We’re thrilled to be part of bringing this vital message back to Northeast Ohio in a way that’s engaging, accessible and built for the needs of today’s workforce.”

The safety expo will feature breakout sessions led by experts across multiple industries; interactive presentations for beginner, intermediate and advanced safety professionals; a vendor showcase with more than 50 industry partners; and pre-expo networking opportunities and a complimentary boxed lunch.

Session topics will include Health & Wellness, General Industry & Manufacturing, Human Resources and Safety Policy & Regulation.

“The NEO Safety Expo is our way of continuing what the BWC started, while modernizing it to reflect today’s workplace challenges,” said David Costantino, executive consultant at On Demand Occupational Medicine. “Our goal is to make sure that health, wellness and safety remain top priorities for businesses of every size and industry.”

Those interested in presenting are invited to submit speaker proposals by Aug. 1. Sponsorship and vendor opportunities are also available. To sponsor the event, register or submit a session proposal, click HERE.
