WELLSVILLE, OHIO – The Port of Ohio at Pier 48 handles a diverse range of commodities, including steel, soybeans, barite and more. The terminal unloads as many as 260 barges each year. While inbound shipments are strong, many barges leave empty. Lake to River Economic Development is working to expand business at the port by connecting local industries with new markets.
