YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Juli Dulay, manager of the Joanie Abdu Comprehensive Breast Care Center, discusses the center’s role in providing comprehensive breast care services to women in the Mahoning Valley.
Dulay highlights the long-standing support from Panerathon, which helped fund the center before its 2011 opening and continues to support expansions such as the mobile mammography unit known as Joanie-on-the-Go.
The center also offers programs like Joanie’s Promise, which provides free services to uninsured or underinsured patients, and Joanie’s Sisters, a monthly support group for breast cancer survivors.
Dulay emphasizes the collaborative efforts between the center, Panerathon, Covelli Enterprises and Mercy Health in advancing breast care services in the Tri-County area.
