YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The route for this year’s Panerathon race, scheduled for Aug. 23, will have some minor changes because of road closures within Mill Creek Park, according to a press release from the organizers.

The redesigned 10-kilometer course will have additional elevation changes.

The 2-mile course will have only minor changes. It will again offer a family-friendly option for participants of all ages and fitness levels.

All registered participants, volunteers and spectators are encouraged to review the updated course maps prior to race day to familiarize themselves with the routes.

Panerathon is the Mahoning Valley’s premier fundraising event benefiting the Mercy Health Foundation Mahoning Valley in support of the Joanie Abdu Comprehensive Breast Care Center. Since its inception, the event has raised millions of dollars to advance breast cancer diagnosis, treatment and patient care.
