CANFIELD, Ohio – Penguin City Brewing will release a limited edition can to commemorate the 2025 Canfield Fair.
The can design, which captures the spirit of the fair, is a collaboration between the fair and the Youngstown brewery. It will be available beginning in mid-July at most local beer and wine sellers and at the Penguin City taproom in downtown Youngstown. It will not be sold at the fair, where alcohol is prohibited.
“The Canfield Fair has been a beloved yearly tradition for me since I was a little girl, so
creating this special can for the fair is truly beyond anything I could have dreamed of,” said Aspasia Lyras-Bernacki, co-owner of Penguin City Brewing.
George Roman, director of grandstand events at the Canfield Fair, called the collaboration a natural fit between two hometown favorites.
It’s more than a can,” Roman said. “It’s a toast to tradition, community and the local spirit that makes the Canfield Fair so special.”
