WARREN, Ohio – Phantom Fireworks is projecting higher sales this July 4 as the nation celebrates its 250th anniversary, with company leaders forecasting double-digit growth. The company is shipping inventory from its 800,000-square-foot warehouse in Warren to more than 100 showroom locations while benefiting from years of advance inventory planning.

Plus, Gov. Mike DeWine on Thursday signed Senate Bill 52, designating several memorial highways, including one in Boardman for late Mahoning Valley businessman Clarence “Sonny” Smith Jr.

And Ohio saw a net loss of 2,400 jobs in May, even as unemployment continued to decline for a third consecutive month, according to the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.
