PITTSBURGH, Pa. – PNC Financial Services Group Inc. on Wednesday reported record revenue in the second quarter of 2026.
Based on total revenue of $6.9 billion, as well as increases in net interest income and fee income, PNC increased its quarterly common stock dividend 30 cents to $2 per share, an increase of 18%.
By June 22, PNC added 780,000 customers, more than 1,620 employees and 95 branches across Colorado and Arizona through its acquisition of FirstBank in January.
Integration costs were $127 million in the second quarter.
PNC’s total revenue of $6.9 billion was an increase of $710 million, or 12%. Net income was $2.1 billion, an increase from $1.8 billion. Both increases are from a quarter ago.
Net interest income was $4.1 billion, a 4% increase of $146 million.
“Our strong second quarter performance reflects the disciplined execution of our growth strategy and positions us well for the second half of the year,” said Bill Demchak, PNC chairman and CEO. “We remain focused on delivering results that support our customers, shareholders and communities. Our successful FirstBank conversion, strong capital position and announced dividend increase provide further evidence of the strength and resilience of our franchise.”
Other second-quarter highlights include:
- Average loans of $363.2 billion, an increase of $12.3 billion.
- Delinquencies of $1.4 billion, a decrease of $122 million.
- Average investment securities of $147.1 billion, an increase of $2.6 billion.
