AUSTINTOWN, Ohio – A Massachusetts company bought a portion of the Austintown Plaza for $6.4 million, according to Mahoning County Auditor’s Office records.
The 4.52-acre property at 6000 Mahoning Ave. includes two units within a building. The larger 77,280-square-foot space is occupied by Planet Fitness, while Fun City Adventure Park operates in the 2,240-square-foot space.
The property, located in the northeastern section of the plaza just west of Fitch Boulevard, is listed on county auditor records as units 651-0401 through 651-0405. The property also includes 85,000 square feet of paved parking north of the building.
The purchaser, 6000 Mahoning LLC, was created in June with a listed address of 139 Front St., Falls River, Mass. Zi Qian Zhang is listed as the statutory agent.
Built in 1976, the property was sold by Austintown Plaza Ltd.
