YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — Potential Development School for Students with Autism celebrated its largest graduating class Friday during commencement ceremonies at Stambaugh Auditorium.
The Class of 2026 includes 19 seniors, the largest group of graduates in the school’s history.
Family members, friends, staff, board members and supporters gathered to recognize the graduates as they received their diplomas during the ceremony.
School officials said the event celebrated the hard work, growth and perseverance of the graduates while recognizing the support provided by families, teachers and staff throughout their educational journeys.
The commencement marked a milestone for Potential Development, which serves students with autism and other developmental disabilities in the Mahoning Valley. School leaders noted that this year’s record-breaking class reflects the commitment of students, educators and families working together to help each graduate reach the milestone.
