SHARON, Pa. – Dr. George Garrow, CEO of Primary Health Network , recently received the Wilford Payne Health Center Mentor APEX Award from the Pennsylvania Association of Community Health Centers.
PACHC supports community health centers through efforts that improve health outcomes and access to high-quality, affordable health care. The Wilford Payne Health Center Mentor APEX Award is an annual recognition granted to individuals in health care who go above and beyond, demonstrating a strong commitment to preparing the next generation of health center leaders by providing support, empowerment, compassion and innovation.
Wilford Payne was a former CEO of Primary Care Health Services in Pittsburgh who devoted his career to guiding and mentoring others through leadership. Payne’s principles are the foundation of the award:

This honor reflects Garrow’s commitment to the mission of Primary Health Network and community health through his leadership and advocacy by actively shaping the future of care through his engagement, policy influence and support of workforce development.
