YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — Crystal Swiggett, a longtime child care provider, launched Raising Young Royalty Child Development Center after operating an in-home day care for two years. As demand increased, she turned to Valley Partners for support, expanding into a full-service center.
Swiggett completed the organization’s accounting and legal grant program, where she was connected with financial and legal professionals and awarded a $10,000 grant. She later secured an SBA loan through Valley Partners and worked closely with business advisers to finalize her business plan.
The center, now open 24 hours a day Monday through Saturday, provides care for children of all backgrounds, including those with special needs. Swiggett credits Valley Partners for helping her navigate business certification, financing and expansion planning.
