YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Roberta Hiller, CEO of the Youngstown Columbiana Association of Realtors, has received the Realtor Association Certified Executive designation from the National Association of Realtors.
Hiller is one of more than 540 Realtor association executives who have achieved the designation, which recognizes exceptional efforts made by association executives.

“I am truly honored to be given this designation. I will be able to use my knowledge to advocate and support the right to homeownership in our area,” Hiller said. “Working towards this designation has been so rewarding, and I am thrilled to continue to learn more for our community.”
Before becoming a candidate for the designation, applicants must document their association management and academic experiences, which includes accumulating a minimum of 350 points through professional development activities, professional achievements, education and community activities.
Once they have completed this first step, eligible candidates must successfully complete a multiple-choice exam, which is based on a comprehensive understanding of association operations and management practices. Candidates must demonstrate knowledge of areas critical to association management, including association law, governance and issues related to member services. To retain the designation, it must be recertified every four years.
Hiller will receive an award plaque from representatives of the Ohio Realtors during an upcoming event.
The Youngstown Columbiana Association of Realtors provides local real estate agents with monthly education classes and resources.
