Regional Chamber Launches Wages and Benefits Survey
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber is asking businesses to take part in its 2021 Starting Wages and Benefits survey.
The survey will provide information that allows companies to offer competitive starting pay, control payroll costs when making hiring and promotion decisions, and determine compensation and benefit levels based on industry comparisons.
Items in the survey cover six areas: company information, employee demographics, time off policies, medical and other benefits, wages and, if preferred, uploading company policy files on time off, benefits and wages. The survey will take about 30 minutes to complete.
“This benchmark of local wages and benefits will help companies determine a competitive compensation package that will attract talent, especially in in-demand jobs; reduce costs associated with employee turnover; and increase productivity through employee satisfaction,” said chief operating officer and vice president of economic development Sarah Boyarko in a statement.
The survey is open through June 25. It can be completed HERE. Business leaders can either take the survey online or download it as a Word document, Excel spreadsheet or PDF.
Businesses that submit surveys will be entered to drawings, held the last day of March, April and May, to win a gift card to a Regional Chamber member restaurant.
For more information on the survey, contact Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber director of research Michelle Phillips at 330 744 2131 ext. 1104 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
