YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber will host an informational meeting on its Explore Tuscany travel program at 6 p.m. Monday at its offices, 100 E. Federal St., Suite 500.

The meeting will be presented by Owen Edwards of Collette, who will provide an overview of the Regional Chamber’s Tuscany trip and answer questions from attendees.

The nine-day guided trip, scheduled for Oct. 6-14, will take travelers through the rolling hills, historic cities and culinary traditions of Italy’s Tuscany region. Participants will stay seven nights in the spa resort town of Montecatini Terme, which serves as a central hub for exploring the region.

The itinerary features guided visits to Lucca, Florence, Pisa and San Gimignano, along with immersive experiences such as a Tuscan winery visit and tasting, an Italian cooking class and a visit to a family-owned farm with sampling of local products. Travelers also will have the opportunity to walk along the 16th-century walls of Lucca, explore Florence’s Renaissance landmarks and visit the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

“Travel programs like this allow people to explore incredible destinations while connecting with others from our region,” said Becky Litowitz, director of member services for the Regional Chamber. “The informational meeting is a great way to learn more about the itinerary and ask questions before deciding to join the trip.”

The free meeting is open to anyone interested in learning more about the trip. Attendees will receive details about the itinerary, travel logistics and booking information.
