SHARON, Pa. – Registration is open for Mercer County Food Bank’s 15th Race to End Hunger 5K/2-mile walk, which is set for Aug. 2 at the Training & Workforce Development Center at LindenPointe.
The cost to participate in the race is $20 in advance or $22 on the day of the race. Funds collected will be used in the fight against hunger.
Registration will begin at 7 a.m. The event will kick off at 8:30 a.m. with a free Kid’s Fun Run, and the 5K/2-mile walk will start at 9 a.m.
The event will include snow cones, a bounce house and a DJ. Medals, donated by Roemer Industries, will be presented after the race.
