YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley is expanding its annual fundraising event.
The Benefit Banquet, formerly called the Benefit Dinner, will now offer supporters the opportunity to attend either a breakfast or dinner event. Both events will take place Feb. 20, 2026, at Waypoint 4180 in Canfield.
This year’s banquet theme centers on hope, transformation and impact, with both sessions featuring a buffet meal, an update from John Muckridge III, CEO of the Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley, and testimonies from guests whose lives have been changed through the organization’s programs.
“This banquet is more than a meal – it’s to reflect on the power of the Gospel and the lives being transformed through it,” Muckridge said. “Whether you join us in the morning or evening, you’ll hear testimonies and see how your support helps us share Christ’s love with those who need it most.”
Advanced tickets for the open-seating breakfast are $50. Doors will open at 9 a.m., and the program will begin at 9:30 a.m. The breakfast includes fruit salad, scrambled eggs, breakfast meat, hash browns, assorted pastries, french toast, coffee and juices.
Advanced reservation for the assigned-seating dinner is $75. Doors will open at 6 p.m., and the program will begin at 6:30 p.m. The dinner includes chicken milanese, vegetarian eggplant Napoleon, dauphinoise potatoes, pasta in garlic parmesan red sauce, zucchini, squash and red onion medley, garden salad, rolls, dessert, coffee, tea and pop. A jazz trio will perform during the dinner.
“This new format gives our supporters more flexibility while keeping the heart of the event the same,” said Lynn Wyant, chief development officer. “Whether you join us for breakfast or dinner, you’ll be part of a powerful celebration of lives changed and hope restored.”
Sponsorships are available and include recognition at both events.
