NILES, Ohio – All Texas Roadhouse, Bubba’s 33 and Jaggers locations are inviting the public to a fundraiser Monday to support the American Tinnitus Association.
To honor Texas Roadhouse’s late founder, Kent Taylor, the restaurants will donate 100% of all profits Monday to the organization.
“Supporting ATA allows the Texas Roadhouse brands to continue the legacy of our founder, Kent Taylor, whose heart was always centered on helping others,” said Jerry Morgan, CEO and president of Texas Roadhouse. “Our partnership reflects a sincere dedication to shining a light on tinnitus, its prevention and the meaningful steps individuals can take to manage this debilitating disease.”
Tinnitus, commonly called “ringing in the ears,” affects more than 26 million adults in the United States. Tinnitus can also include various perceptions of sounds not actually present, including buzzing, hissing, whistling, swooshing and clicking noises.
Texas Roadhouse has 721 locations in 49 states and 10 foreign countries, including local locations in Boardman, Niles and Alliance in Ohio and Butler, Pa. The company also owns Bubba’s 33 and Jaggers restaurants.
The nonprofit American Tinnitus Association helps to fund research, expand education and remind those living with tinnitus that they are not alone, according to ATA CEO Patrick Lynch.
“For many years, Texas Roadhouse and Roadie Nation have been steadfast partners of the American Tinnitus Association, and we are deeply grateful for their continued support,” he said.
