The nominees for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s class of 2026 include Phil Collins, Mariah Carey, Lauryn Hill, INXS, Iron Maiden, Luther Vandross, Shakira and 10 others.

The hall on Wednesday morning unveiled the 17 bands and solo artists who received nods.

Also on the list are Melissa Etheridge, Jeff Buckley, Pink, New Edition, Sade, the Wu-Tang Clan, the Black Crowes, Oasis, Joy Division/New Order and Billy Idol.

A group of more than 1,200 artists, historians and music industry professionals will vote to decide who will be inducted.

The selectees will be announced in April, along with three more inductees who will enter the hall under the musical influence, musical excellence and the Ahmet Ertegun Non-Performer Award special categories.

Billy Idol, Joy Division/New Order, the Black Crowes and Oasis were also nominated last year.

The 2026 induction ceremony is expected to take place in Cleveland in the fall. The exact date and location has not yet been announced.

To be eligible for the Rock Hall, an artist must have released their first commercial recording at least 25 years ago.
