The move expanded the firm by 25% and positions Roetzel as the seventh-largest law firm in northeastern Ohio, according to Lyndsey Maurer, communications manager.

In addition to the Youngstown and Sharon offices, Roetzel has 14 offices in six states, comprising Akron, Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, Toledo, Wooster, Chicago, Detroit, Lexington, Ky., Fort Myers, Naples and Orlando, Fla., and Washington, D.C.

The firm has significant depth and expertise in international transactions, taxation, personal and business succession planning, mergers and acquisitions, litigation, government affairs, environmental and health care law.

The integration of the Brouse McDowell team was the largest lateral group hire in the history of Roetzel, which was founded in 1876. With the new offices in Youngstown and Sharon, Roetzel now has approximately 210 attorneys and 174 staff across its 16 locations.
