Salem Regional Opens Immediate Care at TownCenter
COLUMBIANA, Ohio – Salem Regional Medical Center opens its SRMC Immediate Care today at Firestone Farms TownCenter, providing walk-in medical services seven days weekly.
“Salem Regional Medical Center is now providing immediate care services in Columbiana as a convenient alternative when you become sick or injured, but can’t wait for an appointment with your regular doctor,” said Dr. Anita Hackstedde, Salem Regional president and CEO. “SRMC Immediate Care is a lower-cost option for those with medical problems that need treatment right away, but are not considered true emergencies.”
The new facility is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Saturdays and Sundays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. It will be closed on major holidays.
It treats a wide range of non-urgent conditions, such as cold and flu symptoms; minor cuts and scrapes; minor burns; sprains, strains and splints; allergies; earache; urinary tract infections; rashes and skin problems; insect bites and stings; and other minor ailments. Treatment is provided to patients who are at least 5 years old.
Most health insurance plans are accepted, as well as self-pay options.
Firestone Farms TownCenter is located at the intersection of state Routes 7 and 14. SRMC Immediate Care’s address is 116 Carriage Drive.
The location is already the home of two other SRMC service providers: Columbiana Family Care Center and SRMC Medical Imaging Center.
